SIM IMPEX presented itself at the General Assembly of ALAMYS (Latin American Association of Metros and Subways) in Quito on November 19, 2018. As specialized service providers for the Latin American market, it is a great honor for us. We look forward to sharing experiences and promoting knowledge that will lead to the implementation of best practices among members to enable the development and implementation of rail-based mass transit systems. In this way, we hope to continue contributing to the quality of life of residents and sustainable mobility of cities in Latin America, Caribbean and Iberian Peninsula.
The main objectives of ALAMYS are:
- Positioning on the most important aspects related to public transport among the public and stakeholders.
- Common standards and methodologies for Latin American studies.
- Develop institutional relationships to share knowledge and improve decision-making processes in the implementation and expansion of rail systems in Latin America.
- Positioning together with members to help reduce implementation times of rail systems.
